Goals
My school did a design jam with the prompt of "defining the new". I was in charge of a group of students from the bachelor's and master's design programs and this is the video that we created in 2 days.

Inspiration
We decided to do a motion graphics piece that would show the evolution of interaction with technology throughout the eras. We began with flipping channels on a TV and ended with scrolling on TikTok.
Starting Out
For this project I was put in a leadership position rather than being told what to make. I had to not only work on my own portion but also guide everyone else. I started by creating the first 8 seconds so that everyone had an idea for how I wanted it to look/feel, I then delegated tasks to my group.
Making Progress
After creating that intial start to our project, I spent the remainder of the 2 days fixing the work that I received and directing everyone else. This was extremely challenging, but I learned a lot about how to be an effective leader and communicator. This video is one example of the work I received, I had to tweak it to have the same velocity as the rest of the pieces.
Finishing Touches
Getting to the finish line was a scramble, I received the final video 40 minutes before the deadline and this is what we were able to create. Although it was a hectic timeframe, for only having 2 days to make it, the final product was able to fit the theme and remain engaging throughout its entire runtime.
